Join us as we take action in solidarity with the movement to stop the Bayou Bridge Pipeline that would cut across Southern Louisiana. We will be gathering in front of Bank of America and Wells Fargo to call on them to stop their funding of the pipeline.
This pipeline would connect with the Dakota Access Pipeline system and would bring fracked-oil from North Dakota to export facilities in Louisiana. The pipeline is being built by the same company that built DAPL, Energy Transfer Partners.
#Shameonbankofamerica and #shameonwellsfargo for funding Energy Transfer Partners.
From February 26 - March 4 communities are mobilizing for the Week of Action to Stop the Bayou Bridge Pipeline. The main targets for the Week of Action are a group of banks that are financing Energy Transfer Partners. We hope that you can join us.
